Dr. West graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and went on to complete her Doctor of Medicine in 2006. She completed a Family Medicine Residency and additional postgraduate training in women’s health in 2009. Since that time Dr. West built a practice encompassing full scope Family Medicine, Women and Newborn care and Cosmetic Injecting in Hamilton. In 2022 she decided to devote all her focus to her passion of aesthetic medicine. Dr. West’s interest in aesthetic medicine comes from a desire to help people of all backgrounds and ages build their confidence, become healthier, and feel and look more vibrant. She has completed extensive additional cosmetic injection training in physician developed and lead courses with hands on experience. Dr West has completed preceptorships with Canadian experts and training programs with world renouned Dr Mauricio de Maio and the MD CodesTM. She is very focused on detail and ensuring your needs are met. She has mastered combining the art and science of cosmetic injection. Facilitating patient communication and treatment planning with emotional attributes, and focusing on dynamic ageing and beauty. She is also a Member of CAAM, the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine.
